Marina Gusiakova: First experience

My first experience with Japanese students was on the 18 of May, 2010. And it was wonderful. I can say I really enjoyed talking to both Miho and Daiki. I love meeting new people, exploring different nations and share my ideas with those people. That is why I was very excited about this opportunity. I have discovered that even though we are from such different countries we have a lot in common.
Miho lives near the biggest lake in Japan - Biwe. She likes to play basketball and listen to the music. She loves eating oranges and grapes. Whenever Miho has free time she reads books and watches comedy films. She has been to several countries and even went for a vacation to Hawaii.
One more student, I had a chance to talk to was Daiki. He studies English and is a professional rugby player. He is not a big fan of fruit and vegetables, but one of his favorite is watermelon. Daiki told me about his favorite music. He loves rap and he suggested that I listen to one of the famous rap bands in Japan - Rip Slyme.  I think you would enjoy this group, as much as I did. Thanks Daiki J

))) haha, thanks Nina!

I think my manner reminds somehow a journalist style. I used to work in the newspaper in the USA, more facts and simple sentences. That is how I was taught!

Have a terrific day!
